Rena oil spill.
Papamoa Beach, Christmas Day 2009 (my photo) and today (NZ Herald).
Imagine having a container leaking hamburger meat patties washed up right outside your house by constant waves of black oil.
My flatmate’s family lives at Papamoa and after 1 day of this they are all experiencing headaches, nausea, and dizziness.
